TYPES OF DANCE

It is not known when and where the term contemporary dance originated. The term 'contemporary' denotes aspects of progress and actuality, as well as an almost absolute immersion in the understanding of story processes. This requires the sensitive development of active observation of the facts that occur in that place, space and time.

Ballet Clásico

Among its distinctive features are the use of the tips, their graceful, their fluids and precise movements, and their ethereal qualities.

Ballet Neoclasicismo

Is to describe the term ballet classic labre that uses the traditional vocabulary of classical ballet, but is generally more expansive than the classical structure allowed. For example, dancers dance at more extreme tempos and often perform more technical feats.

The spacing in neoclassical ballet is generally more modern or complex than in classical ballet. Although the organization in classical neoclassical ballet is varied, the focus on the structure is a defining characteristic of the neoclassical ballet.

Is a performing art form consisting of purposefully selected sequences of human movement. This movement has aesthetic and symbolic value, and is acknowledged as dance by performers and observers within a particular culture. Dance can be categorized and described by its choreography, by its repertoire of movements, or by its historical period or place of origin.

The dance has a specific duration ranging from seconds, minutes, and even hours and can be artistic, entertaining or religious. In the same way, it is also a way of expressing feelings and emotions through fine, harmonious and coordinated gestures. Dance, in many cases, is also a form of communication, since non-verbal language is used.

It is one of the few arts where people are the material and point of attention. It is a beautiful art, expressive and exciting in many aspects, both for those who enjoy their contemplation (public), as for those who dance at that time (dancer) and being pleasant, (in most cases) can be enjoyed for all the people, although in some occasions, to appreciate a specific type of dance, will depend as much on the audience as on the dancer.

"Dancing is being out of yourself, more beautiful, more powerful"
